For some reason I found the above number everywhere on the internet. On YouTube, Digg or Flickr and even on T-Shirts.

You’ve probably figured it out by now. It’s the processing code that will let Linux decrypt and play HD-DVD movies. Movie companies went balistic when this became public and on the first couple of publications they convinced the media outlets to remove it. The reason you see it everywhere is that “the masses” decided to spread the word so wildly that the movie companies couldn’t do anything about it any more…
Yes, it indeed IS related to HD-DVD. Actually, that is the key used to decrypt most HD-DVD movies 😀 once cracked, people started posting it everywhere on the Internet just to piss off RIAA 😀
